I was visiting the folks in Warwickshire over the Bank Holiday weekend. A trip to Stratford-upon-Avon for dinner had the unexpected bonus of this spectacular view of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre from the old brick footbridge spanning the river.

The theatre was originally designed by Elisabeth Scott and opened in 1932. It was extensively remodelled – including the addition of the striking tower - by Bennetts Associates between 2005 and 2010.
